Louise is a passionate and empathic Psychologist who provides assessment and treatment for a range of mental health concerns, including, but not limited to, adjustment issues, depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, stress, and self-esteem issues.

She is dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality treatment, working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals. With her educational background in Health Psychology, Louise is particularly interested in helping clients who may be struggling with adjustment to changes in their health. In addition to working in private practice, she works in an outpatient hospital setting, offering psychological treatment to individuals living with chronic pain. Working across different health settings means that Louise effectively liaises with other health professionals (e.g., GPs, psychiatrists, physiotherapists) to optimise health and wellbeing outcomes for clients.

Louise tailors her approach to each individual client, using a range of evidence-based therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Compassion Focused Therapy.

She has lived and studied in various countries, making her considerate of cultural backgrounds and understanding of the impact of cultural differences on psychological adjustment and general wellbeing. Louise has experience working with adults from different cultures, backgrounds, sexual orientations and in ethical non-monogamous styles of relationships. She is committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental, and accepting therapeutic environment for all clients.

Louise is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Louise currently consults at BlueSky Psychology on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
